B2 - neu ab 01/01/2019

wie bereits angekündigt wird die neue B2-Prüfung weltweit zum 01.01.2019 eingeführt. Aus Rücksicht auf die Anforderungen in Ländern, in denen Schüler das Schuljahr am Anfang des Sommers mit der B2-Prüfung abschließen, wird es einen zweiten Einführungstermin geben, nämlich den 01.08.2019.

Die zwei Goethe-Institute in Griechenland werden deshalb die neue Prüfung zum ersten Mal im September 2019 durchführen.


As already announced, the new B2 test will be held worldwide for the first time on 1 January 2019. Taking into account the demands for postponing this date in countries where students are taking the B2 test at the end of the school year, early summer , is designated as a second date of first examination on 1 August 2019.

As a result, the two Goethe-Institutes in Greece will conduct the new B2 examination for the first time in September 2019.

New test: Goethe-Zertifikat B2 for adolescents and adults

As part of our regular review of our exams, based on the most up-to-date scientific research in language proficiency certification, the Goethe-Zertifikat B2 test for adolescents and adults has been redesigned and will be conducted in modules from 01/01/2019. It will no longer consist of two compulsory parts (written group examination and oral or pair-wise individual examination), but of four separate modules. Interested parties can participate in all or some of the modules:

  • Three sections in the written group examination: UNDERSTANDING WRITTEN, ORDER UNDERSTANDING, PRODUCING WRITTEN SPEECH
  • a unit in oral or pairwise (individually) individual examination: ORAL PRODUCTION

There is no difference in the degree of difficulty between Goethe-Zertifikat B2 for adolescents and Goethe-Zertifikat B2 for adolescents; only subjects, both written and oral, vary in order to respond to adolescent experiences and experiences. The certificates issued for both versions are completely identical.
